Welcome
Here, I will be documenting the building of my F-Scale Dual Gauge model railroad from planning to current status, whatever that maybe. This is where I have fun and allow my creativity to get the best of me.

- The first picture is the original drawing of what I conceived the railroad to be, based on the then current space I had to work with.
- The second picture below, is what was finally decided upon for the space to be to build the layout in. I needed to tear virtually everything out including walls and rooms so to start over. The design insert (although already well under way) will be coming here in this space soon. ---Don
The Plan I wanted was to be dual purpose.
First > I wanted to be able to run a few trains continuously just for show and tell when guests came to visit, whether that was one of my grandchildren or a non-train enthusiast simply curious while here on a visit.
Second > I wanted operation. The ability to run a preplanned daily service. Operating to and from several industries supported by the railroad.
Note; I have a Coal mine, a Sawmill, a Grist Mill and of coarse a Shipping transfer office for goods to and from the town of Iron Creek.
