Modeling in 1:20.32 scale / F-Standard and Fn3-Narrow Gauge

   Welcome to my website.

The Website

The main purpose of this website is for me to help to push the movement, understanding and the development of true to scale modeling for Large Scale Model trains ie: 1:20.32 F scale model railroading.
This venture by a growing number of modelers and manufacturers is what has now become a quiet but major movement to build quality models showing accurate attention to details considering both scale and gauge differences for good, accurate models in the Large Scale Model Train market. Up until recently this has not happened in the larger scales. (see, What is F-Scale)

My Modeling

I'm first, A model railroader desiring to build a nice believable, fun model railroad. I've started building a medium sized layout remarkably indoors. I'm lucky enough to have a fairly descent sized basement under my home to which with a bit of imagination, I'm turning into a nice little logging empire twisting and turning down thru the 600 sqft. canyon and back out again.
I could only achieve this by flipping it over on itself once and at one end I've run the scene from floor to ceiling to make it all seem to work. On one of the following pages, you can follow from my planning stages up and hopefully thru it's completion, if I live that long.

The Iron Creek Shops

As many of you know, since this scale is still relatively new, there really aren't that many true to scale items out yet to actually build a scale model railroad. So, because of this, much of the detail has to be built from scratch. As I do this, or have it done for me, the process usually ends up creating a master for making the new piece which then potentially becomes a new product that I can sell or not at my "Iron Creek Shops".

Note
I travel a lot, for my real job in commercial construction. This being said then, is also why my time with the store-end of things is very unpredictable and usually short winded for time needed to make it operate as I would like, atleast until I retire someday.
Until then,  I'm still taking orders for items, but won't advertise as I used to. The order inquirers will be answered and then filled, but only around my then present work schedule. (I can't hardly send you a piece of track if I'm not there to send it to ya.)

Thanks for all of your support
Peace and hopefully you will come back often
